For nearly Thirty years the firm has established an international reputation as a leading design with experience in residential, commercial and institutional work. ADAL excels in the planning & design of major Urban Design, Mixed-use, Commercial, Educational, Institutional, Senior Care Facilities, Multi-Family Housing and Resort Master Planning projects. Of particular interest are the Major Urban Design, Mixed-use projects where offices, housing, shopping, hotels, theatres and commercial spaces are blended together by the introduction of cultural aspects in a contemporary classical scale linking vibrant public spaces.

Our creative process is synergistic, involving all team members from the beginning. It begins with the definition and understanding of the project objectives and client values. An innovative response to these parameters is the key to our goal of producing an inspired design. Alternatives are evaluated and discussed with our clients. Out of this dialogue evolves the distilled solution, unique to that project.

There is no ADAL 'style'. Every project has an individual solution. We deliberately avoid having our designs controlled by a 'system' but we are deeply committed to being methodical and thorough in addressing our client's needs as well as recognizing the cultural environment of the project.

EXPERIENCE

ADAL was founded in 1988 by Mr. Datta in Alberta, Canada to provide Architectural, Master Planning, Urban Design & Interior Design services. From 1988 to 1991, ADAL provided extensive architectural and project management services to MSA Inc. on various architectural and planning projects. ADAL is registered in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario & Saskatchewan. However, ADAL also has provided services to projects in USA, India, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, China, Nigeria, Russia, Finland, France & Bahamas.
